The Estrojam Music and Culture Festival is an annual 501C3 not-for-profit, community-based event that features internationally acclaimed and emerging female musicians and artists, educators, activists, and community leaders in dozens of events, including concerts, workshops, panels, and a film festival presented at Chicago's best venues. Estrojam is organized by women and open to all.
If you are interested in being a part of Estrojam 2008, we will be looking for submissions in the following areas:

Visual Arts
Film & Video
Performance Art

Your entry postmarked May 31st, 2008.

ADDITIONAL REQUIRMENTS:
Theatre: Script
Film/Video: VHS, DVD, miniDV
Dance: VHS or DVD of work sample and description of intended performance.
Spoken Word: Writing sample
Performance Art: VHS or DVD of work sample and description of intended performance.
Music: CD/tape
Visual Art: Photocopies of work or slides
$20 submission fee. NO SUBMISSIONS ARE ACCEPTED WITHOUT THE SUBMISSION FEE. If the submission fee is a problem, we offer scholarships for those who cannot afford it. Please email info@estrojam.org for a scholarship application.
