Historic yet hip and cutting edge, Chicago’s Wicker Park and Bucktown district offers a variety of lifestyle options…distinctive art, acclaimed restaurants and a trendy music scene to name just a few.Reflecting the eclectic neighborhood is the annual Wicker Park Fest, July 26 – 27.Showcasing the diverse area for a fifth consecutive year, Wicker Park Fest 2008 is presented by the Wicker Park & Bucktown Chamber of Commerce and Big Creek Productions.Proceeds benefit the Wicker Park & Bucktown Chamber of Commerce.Over 40,000 people attended in 2007!Described as a scaled-down “Pitchfork Music Festival,” Wicker Park Fest is packed with spirited alt-indie music programming that takes place continuously on two stages. Wicker Park Fest willalsofeature great food from local restaurants as well as unique arts & crafts from over 70 local Chicago vendors.Visitors can shop for hand-crafted pottery, one-of-a-kind jewelry, hand-blown glass, fine art, unique clothing and sculpture.
