Gallery 7 announces its upcoming exhibition of photography, "Open Lens"  Open Lens is just that, open to all photographers and all disciplines of photography.  For a full prospectus and entry forms; email hankphoto@sbcglobal.net with the subject line: Open Lens. 

The jury fee is $35.00 for up to five images.  Jurying will be done from email submissions of images only.  Submission deadline is April 26, Jurying is May 6, Image Selection Notification is May 7, the Opening recpetion is June 4, the closing Reception is July 16.  Open Lens runs from June 1 through July 16, 2010.  Best of Show, Honorable Mention, and Purchase Awards will be given.  Juors are Willard Clay, Barry Skurkis, and Joseph Baltz.  All submitted artworks must be for sale.  All sales will be subject to a 30% commission. 

Gallery 7 is in the Rialto Arts District in downtown Joliet, next to the historic Rialto Theater.  Gallery 7 is a member / partnership of eight photographers, with exhibiting associate members.

Organization Description: 

Gallery 7 is in the Rialto Arts District in downtown Joliet, next to the historic Rialto Theater.  Gallery 7 is a member / partnership of eight photographers, with exhibiting associate members.

Gallery 7 features Photography, Jewelry, Art Quilts and Fiber. We will be adding 3 dimension works in ceramics, wood and sculpture.

Gallery 7 also offers services in portrait, wedding, event and commercial photography, photographic workshops, seminars and tours and image software workshops, art rental, custom framing.  We also host various events that include dining, dance, music and lecturs.
