Call for Artists: Green Too

GREEN TOO, a complementary component of GREEN, invites artists to propose small to large scale installations that confront ecological issues on a local, regional, national, and/or global level. The exhibition objective is to construct an experience that physically immerses the audience in environmental issues. The jury is particularly interested in installations that powerfully illustrate the cost and/or promise to be found in our treatment and relationship to the natural world. Ultimately, the jury seeks visually stunning and philosophically compelling creations that educate, enlighten, and inspire stewardship of the earth. Indoor works only will be considered for GREEN TOO.

* All media are welcome; large to small scale installations.
* Completed or proposed works will be considered.
* Exhibition is open to artists age 18 and older who are working in the United States.
* Video entries must be submitted on DVD, playable on QuickTime or RealPlayer and no more than 30 minutes
    in length.
* DVD or computer based works must be exhibited on equipment provided by the artist. Internet access available.
* Bases and pedestals must be well-balanced and sturdy.
