Hartnett Gallery: Call for Art

Hartnett Gallery at the University ofRochester is inviting proposals from individual artists and groups interestedin exhibiting work during the 2009/10 academic year.

Established in 1972, this unique triangulargallery is located in one of the main buildings of the university, WilsonCommons, which was designed by the renowned architect I. M. Pei. The galleryhas a rich exhibition history that includes both artists at the initial stagesof their careers and artists who are internationally renowned. Proposals should include:

Curriculum Vitae

Artist statement

Project description,specifying spatial and technical needs

Slides or digitalimages on CD or DVD, clearly identified

A descriptive list forthe visual material (title, date, dimension, medium)

A self-addressed,pre-stamped envelope
