STUDIO RENTAL

 

North Shore School of Dance (NSSD) is pleased to offer the dance community 5 fully-equipped studios for rent at affordable rates (our 6th studio is not available for rent at this time). Our studios can be rented for rehearsals, performances, auditions, and photo shoots.  Our studios cannot be rented for private lessons or workshops not organized by NSSD.  The studios at our Highland Park location feature wood-sprung floors (with Marley), portable and fixed ballet barres, sound systems, three televisions with video playback systems, heating, air-conditioning, and natural light.  Dressing rooms are located on each floor, as well as 4 restrooms.  The same amenities are found at our Highwood location, with the exception of a wood-sprung floor and air-conditioning.  A piano is located in Highwood.  For further information, please review our Rental Policies and Hourly Rental Rates information below or call the Studio Manager at 847-432-2060 to reserve a studio.  

 

Both locations are within walking distance of the Metra train station.

Organization Description: 

The North Shore School of Dance (NSSD) is a professional school with 6 studios in two locations. We offer graded classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, modern and hip-hop. We also offer adult classes, and seasonal classes such as break dance, lyrical dance, belly dance, and hip-hop for boys. The NSSD boasts a highly qualified professional faculty, along with guest artists from major well-respected dance companies. Faculty members make it possible for the school to offer an extensive program from pre-school to professional.
