Job Title:Wardrobe Crew
Reports To:Costume Shop Manager
Start Date:ASAP to 3/18/18
Goodman Theatre seeks Wardrobe Crew for the productions of Blind Date andThe Wolves.
Interested applicants should have a working knowledge of backstage practices and procedures, basic sewing skills, college education or equivalent professional experience, be well organized, punctual, professional, work well as a member of a team, and maintain a positive attitude in times of stress.
Duties and responsibilities:
· Arrive on time for each call, as determined by Costume shop Manager and Production Office
· Work on the deck for all costume shifts, quick changes and handoffs during each performance
· Maintain all wardrobe pieces including mending, stitching, and/or replacing item as necessary
· Help maintain all costume pieces and do show laundry
This is an hourly position for the duration listed above. Housing and travel are not provided for this position.
