A mix of professional theatre experience and a demonstrated desire to engage students, faculty, and staff in an academic setting that includes departments of performance, theatre studies, and design/technology. Terminal degree or equivalent professional experience, university teaching experience desired but not required. Within the personal statement and/or the statement of teaching philosophy provide (1) specific evidence of a demonstrated commitment to multiculturalism and diversity in creative and academic work and (2) relevant areas of expertise with respect to teaching core coursework in one or more of The Theatre School’s three departments: Performance, Design/Technology and Theatre Studies. The ideal candidate will help foster a more inclusive institutional culture that will impact classes, productions, and workshops across disciplines within a professional theatre training conservatory. Candidates must be willing to display a willingness to reach beyond The Theatre School community. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
