POSITION TITLE: Run Crew Sub
POSITION REPORTS TO: House Carpenter / Stage Management
PRODUCTION: BLIND DATE
DATES REQUIRED: 2/16/18 through 2/25/18
Goodman Theatre seeks Run Crew Sub for the final weeks of our production of Blind Date.
Interested applicants should have a working knowledge of backstage practices and procedures, a college education or equivalent professional experience, be punctual, professional, work well as a member of a team, and maintain a positive attitude in times of stress. Applicants must have the ability to repeatedly lift, push or maneuver up to 50-70 lbs either alone or with assistance as well as climb ladders and work in high places.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY:
- Attend all rehearsals and performances as scheduled.
- Prepare, clean the stage and preset scenery and props prior to any rehearsal or performance.
- Shift scenery, aid with prop handoffs, run the show and maintain the quality of the production.
The position is part-time for the dates listed above with a competitive hourly rate.
