EXPO CHICAGO, the International Exposition of Contemporary & Modern Art, seeks talented interns to provide support in the areas of programming, exhibitor relations, marketing and VIP relations.

An internship with EXPO CHICAGO will offer you the opportunity to gain experience in art fair management and advance your understanding of the skills needed for large scale event management—including marketing, outreach, exhibition coordination, programming, and event operations.  We value all of our interns and go the extra mile to make sure you receive a learning experience that fits your career goals.  Interns will have ample opportunity to network with professionals in the arts.

Skills & Qualifications: 
  • Demonstrated interest in Contemporary and Modern art
  • Experience in an arts organization preferred
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Adobe Suites
  • Web design/CMS experience a plus
  • Excellent written and phone communication skills
  • Excellent copy writing and editing skills
  • Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining an elevated degree of detail and professionalism

Our ideal candidate is someone who is detailed oriented, proactive, willing to tackle large projects, and thoughtful when interacting with our clients.

Preference is given to candidates available to work during EXPO CHICAGO 2018, September 27-30, 2018.

You are expected to work a minimum 18 hours a week, from 10am – 4pm. This is a non-paid internship. Students may receive college credit.
