Forums Producer/Speaker Recrutiment

The role of the Q1 Strategic Governance Forums Producer incorporates a unique blend of conference content planning, high-level executive speaker recruitment and management, as well as high-worth client management and event execution. Candidates with experience in society or association congress production will find this role of great interest, blending educational and exhibition management skills to execute up to 14 programs annually, hosted throughout the US. Successful candidates will have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience and demonstrable experience in gaining market share for meetings, increasing sponsorship investment and attendee activation through content development and meeting strategy.

This is a part-time position requiring a commitment of 20 to 25 hours per week. The Forums Producer will work during standard business hours. The ability to travel to events is a preferred.


Content Research & Speaker Recruitment
• Conduct research to identify 20+ discussion topics
• Development of 2-3 keynote panel session abstracts
• Identification of VP/C-Level session moderators
• Confirmation of discussion group & keynote leaders
• Replication of program content across geographies
• Production of 10-12 meetings annually

Event & Meeting Schedule Arrangement
• Responsible for arranging the overall event timing
• Communicating timing for speakers & breakout leaders
• Management of delegate & provider scheduling
• Gathers research for one-on-one meeting selection
• Makes final decisions on individual schedules

High Value Client Strategic Account Management
• Primary point of contact for high-worth clients
• Conduct pre-event calls after contracts are signed
• Handle all sponsor logistics & meeting selections
• Work to ensure satisfaction of high value clients
• Achieve a rate of 25% rebook within 30 days

Forum Product Management Responsibilities
• Gather feedback to continuously evolve the model
• Ensure program aligns with attendee needs
• Identify & integrate new value-add program concepts
• Research & develop new topics within the industry

Internal Sales, Marketing & Production Alignment
• Provide adequate lead time for all sales activities
• Deliver program materials in a timely manner
• Liaise with marketing on content & direction
• Assist sales with client targeting & profiling

Skills & Qualifications: 

This role requires a Bachelor's degree.  Ideally, we prefer a candidate with 3 to 5 years experience in content development, speaker recruitment or producing forums, however, we will consider less experienced candidates with impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
