Ecommerce Marketplace Manager for Art & Antiques Gallery / PAGODA RED

Over the last 20 years, PAGODA RED has become a renowned resource for designers and collectors around the world.

PAGODA RED is looking for a dynamic new addition to our ecommerce team. The Marketplace Manager is responsible for the strategy and day-to-day management of ecommerce marketplace collection listings for PAGODA RED. This role will manage Pagoda Red’s listings on, partner sites such as 1stdibs and Invaluable and evaluate opportunities and integrations with emerging marketplaces. Ideally, the Marketplace Manager will work with our network of consignors to bring their collections onto our platform.  The Marketplace Manager works closely with the Marketing Manager, the Sales Team and the Company Director.

Generally, you will manage the online presence of thousands of unique objects including descriptions, photos, measurements and price updates to ensure clients have an accurate and engaging experience with our collection. Overall, you will need to be a team player, an excellent communicator, Tech/Web-Savvy, and highly organized.

Skills & Qualifications: 


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-3 years of work experience in merchandising, product, marketing, or operations; preferably in an e-Commerce environment
  • 1 year of experience in managing vendor relationships
  • 1 year of experience in managing cross-functional projects
  • Solution based mindset with resourceful/creative problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding written communication skills, with the ability to proofread, edit and convey information in a clear and concise manner to educate our audience and communicate the value of unique historical objects
  • Self-driven, highly organized and an effective independent time manager with the ability to prioritize to meet daily/weekly deadlines.
  • Experience in building and managing a consumer-facing online business
  • Familiarity with effective online practices
  • Interest to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial team environment
  • Passion for art, antiques and design
  • Aptitude and interest to keep abreast of market trends
  • Ability to collaborate cross functionally with internal teams and external partners
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Excel and Outlook
