Ceramic Teacher and Birthday Host

Magical Minds offers career opportunities for artists to work with children of all ages.

This position requires work on weekends and a least two days a week.

Example hours woud be:

Weekday - 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Weekends hours vary.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

Arrives punctually in order to meet responsibilities in site start up and assignments
Is energetic, trustworthy, and committed to your students
Enjoys and has experience working with school-aged children
Has a basic understanding of child development and age-appropriate behaviors and skills
Is an independent, innovative thinker with problem solving skills
Works well in a team environment, is willing to tackle new challenges, and is able to multi-task
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate with parents, school staff, community members
Serves as a positive adult role model for children in the program through appropriate dress, speech, and attitude
Has experince with hand throwing and hand building
Has experince running, loading and unloading a kiln
