The Business/Administrative Intern will work with the many and varied business and financial aspects of running the Chicago Fringe Festival (August 30 – September 3, 2018). This will include, but is not limited to, organizing artist paperwork, assisting with volunteer training preparation, tallying daily figures, setting up specific aspects of special events during the Festival, tracking the Festival budget and reconciling artist payout information. This position will report to the Managing Director. This position will work closely with the Artist Relations department, the Box Office Manager, the Production Manager and the Volunteer Coordinator.
This position runs from June 2018 – October 2018. For a breakdown of hours, please see below:
● June-July 2018 – Up to five hours/week
● August 2018 – Up to ten hours/week as Festival approaches, possibly more once load-in begins
● September 2018 – Full-time during the Festival, especially evenings; approximately twenty hours in the two weeks post-festival
