One Earth Film Festival is a Chicago area film festival that creates opportunities for understanding climate change, sustainability and the power of human involvement through sustainability-themed films and facilitated discussion.
The festival screens their films in a variety of venues around the city, and some aren't equipt with proper AV equipement for the festival. That's where the OEFF Audio Visual team steps in. We transport, set-up and break down AV gear (provided by the festival) in the venues that need our help.
The OEFF Audio Visual team is welcoming new volunteers. You Do Not need strong AV experience, but you Do need to be able to do manual labor and some heavy-lifting. OEFF provides a brief AV training the day before the Opening Gala (March 2nd), and it is highly encouraged to participate in meetings hosted by the Planning Committee.
This is an unpaid volunteer position, but you will be fed and provided a festival tshirt. Those who are driving will be reimbursed for gas for the day(s) on the job. Learn more about the festival at www.oneearthfilmfest.org
OEFF will run March 2nd-11th, 2018; however, the AV team might only be working only weekends (schedule is still in process).
