The Stage School

The Stage School is now accepting applications for experienced Teaching Artists for our 2017 After School Programs. We are primarily seeking instructors skilled in teaching drama to children between three and twelve years-old.

Teaching positions may range from one to four days per week.

Teachers are hired as independent contractors and are paid at the rate of $35 per teaching hour.

After School programs are primarily in the Park Ridge and Des Plaines communities.  Reliable transportation is required. 

The Stage School has provided top quality instruction in the performing arts to students in the Park Ridge community since 2008. We are committed to providing a fun, positive, and productive experience while teaching valuable life skills through the performing arts.

Skills & Qualifications: 


1.       Bachelors degree or higher

2.       Minimum two years experience teaching drama/acting to young children

3.       Strong classroom management skills

4.       Fun, high energy personality and a love of theatre and children

5.       Teaching certification not required

6.       All new hired will be subject to an Illinois State Police Background Check.
