Financial Management Responsibilities for
Not-for-Profit Board Members

Wednesday, February 11, 2009

Board members take on the important responsibility of providing governance for their Not-for-Profit organization.  They may be well versed on the organization's mission, but how much do they know about its finances?  Part of the role of a board member, whether or not they have a financial background, is to provide financial oversight and protect the assets of the organization.  As a board member, participate in this workshop and learn the very basics of your financial responsibilities: what you need to know and be aware of to ensure your Not-for-Profit's financial health.

Speakers: James Quaid, CPA - Ostrow Reisin Berk & Abrams, Ltd.
