Something Else (www.myspace.com/somethingelseradio) is a weekly four hour weekly radio program produced by Philip von Zweck on WLUW (www.wluw.org) community radio in Chicago. Something Else airs sound art, contemporary classical, experimental music, free improvisation, field recordings and other forms of progressive audio that do not have an outlet elsewhere on the dial. Something Else broadcasts works in their entirety- no excepts, even if a work is several hours long. Over the years Something Else has also broadcast hundreds of performances live to air from local, national and international artists; an incomplete list can be found on the myspace page along with recent playlists.
