IFP/Chicago, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit member
service organization for independent filmmakers in the Midwest, seeks a
dynamic self starter for the position of Executive Director.
The Executive Director works closely with the board of directors and staff to define the strategic direction, policies and programs of the organization and is responsible for all aspects of fundraising and administration for this growing 400-member organization.
The Executive Director represents IFP/Chicago in the local and national film community, as well as in the Chicago arts and fundraising communities.
Duties include management and supervision of: full and part-time staff; working with the development director and staff on all fundraising activities including grant writing, corporate sponsorships, private giving and annual gala; office administration; overseeing and executing programs; and servicing members of the organization.
Salary starting in the 40+ range, commensurate with experience.
