Vicki Kunkel is an award-winning social anthropologist who has been recognized as an expert in persuasive communication by many media outlets.. Her articles have been published in The Harvard Business Review, Entrepreneur Magazine, and other business publications. During the O. J. Simpson trial, she was a regular guest expert on CNN, commenting on the subliminal body language messages sent by all the players in that trial.
Her new book: The Velcro Effect: How to Master Mass Appeal is being published by AMACOM in New York, and will be available this fall. New York Times Best Selling author Kevin Hogan -- who wrote "The Psychology of Persuasion" -- recently read Vicki's manuscript, and had this to say about the book:
Vicki Kunkel has hit the mark with The Velcro Effect. Meticulously annotated, I found this an intelligent read in mass appeal and "attraction marketing." Not to be confused with the airy-fairy stuff on the stands. This book is based on solid science and will make you and your business a lot of money. An excellent resource for those who want to make themselves "stick" in the minds of others.
Prior to starting her communications and personal branding company 12 years ago, Vicki spent 11 years as a TV news anchor and radio talk show host.
