The Smithtown Township Arts Council is now accepting entries for Introspections, A Juried Self-Portrait Exhibition to be held August 16 – September 22, 2008. Juror Amy Mackie is an assistant curator at the New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York. Artists are invited to submit work exploring various modes of representing the self. All media (drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, video, film, sound, performance, and installation) will be considered.
