Watercolor Pathways to Mosaic

Tuesday, October 30, 2018 - 7:00pm to Tuesday, December 4, 2018 - 7:00pm

Watercolor can be an inspiration for your art practice, whether as an end in itself or as a bridge to another medium, like mosaic. In this 6-week class, students learn basic skills, color blending and progress to different techniques through painting exercises. The course concludes with students creating color studies and creating the flow of tesserae for their mosaic work. Most exercises will be done in class with optional weekly assignments. If you seek to capture an impression or idea quickly and with ease, watercolor is an excellent way to explore inspiration for your art practice.
