We are Unsilence.org -- a human rights education 501(c)(3) non-profit lead by Northwestern University human rights, social justice and learning science professors. We design interactive learning experiences using arts and technology in schools and public spaces. Our goals is to facilitate tough conversations, shed light on hidden human rights stories, and inspire people to become activists in their own communities.

On Saturday, July 21, we are hosting SHADOWS: A HUMAN RIGHTS TREASURE HUNT!

At each clue station throughout the Loop, there will be an interactive storytelling, visual art, theatrical or musical performance that will educate our participants on Chicago's human rights history and current justice issues, including queer rights, police accountability, mental health services, gender equality and more. Additionally, participants will learn about how they can get involved to effect change in their own communities and neighborhoods, culminating in a public art project where food and refreshments will be served.

Registration is $10, with all proceeds benefitting our CPS in-school residencies for 2018-19. Fee waivers are available; all participants are welcome regardless of their ability to pay.
