Memorial Service for Page Hearn

Page Hearn, a seventeen-year mainstay at Chicago's City Lit Theater, best known for his sublime portrayal of the perfect butler Jeeves in a series of P.G. Wodehouse adaptations, died of a heart attack Saturday, May 18, while crossing a street in Jersey City NJ, where he had moved in 2005. He was 48. A memorial service will be held at City Lit Theater, 1020 W. Bryn Mawr, on June 30 at 7:00 pm.

Space/Movement Project (TS/MP) is collective of contemporary dance artists whose mission is to create innovative work as well as support individual artists through ongoing dialogue and the sharing of creative and financial resources

Our weekly modern dance technique class encourages participants to enjoy as well as challenge themselves as movers. A member of the company will conduct class each week: Allisa-Zee Hartmann, Larisa Eastman, Stacy Thomas Wolfson, Leah Raffanti and special guests!

Entering its twentieth year, the New York Summer Dance Intensive is a four-week workshop that centers on modern and contemporary technique, with an emphasis on performance skills. Lemme, Helen Lee, and Brandon DiCriscio. Dance Chance is a one-hour event
inspired by the concept of open-mic night, offering opportunities for

Hey all, I am moving and have a lot of scrap wood if anybody is in need. I have a few full sheets of plywood in various thicknesses. Some masonite sheets, and a lot of pieces of 2x4s (some complete), some 1x1s etc. A few small pieces of hardwood as well.

Also I have some other miscellaneous things I'm giving away (small LCD monitor, a box of Windsor Newton oil paints, etc.)

As great as Chicago's workshops and theater companies are at helping you shape your acting skills, there has been nowhere here that gives you the opportunity to learn to feel really at home on a film set; where you can get to spend time in front of a camera, with lights, with sound, with a film crew, with a director with years of Hollywood experience. Starting in June, Flashpoint Academy is offering exactly that to professional Chicago actors. Each Film Actors Workshop will consist of one three hour session a week for six weeks. They will be conducted on Flashpoint's main soundstage located at The Merchandise Mart. MOMENTA Repertory Ensemble COLLECTIVE PSYCHE

The choreographers from MOMENTA Repertory Ensemble (a professional arm from MOMENTA) have created an otherwordly and seamless performance event that gives a modern retelling of the myth of Psyche.

In collaboration with video artist, Michael Bassett and sound designer Gino Sigismondi, seven choreographers have contributed to COLLECTIVE PSYCHE.

Last year for a concert with MRE Michael Bassett and I created a dance/video work called Gravity's Dance. The company took the lessons that we learned about dance and video and moved it forward in a tremendous way. Honestly I had no idea how powerful it was going to become, but this work is something unlike any other dance event you will ever see, and you will be glad that you came.
