The School at Jacob’s Pillow provides conservatory-style training in the midst of the professional, international Festival setting. Programs are designed for both the working professional and pre-professionals and often both groups may work within the same program of study. Five core programs are offered annually: Ballet, Cultural Traditions, Contemporary, Jazz and Choreography. Focus is on artistic development and only 25 dancers are accepted per program to work with internationally renowned faculty. Curriculum includes six hours of studio work plus lectures, Archives study, and attendance to Festival performances. |
