ACTORS THEATRE OF LOUISVILLE Phone: (502)584-1205 Fax: (502)561-3300 Email: mail@actorstheatre.org |
22 people are selected each year to apprentice with the professional theatre company. They attend master classes in audition training, scene study and script analysis, as well as seminars by distinguished artists and administrators. Professional Interns at Actors Theatre work directly with department managers and staff to receive valuable hands-on training in either arts administration or technical theatre. Internships are available on a full-time seasonal basis (late August to early June) with possible exceptions on a project basis for partial-season positions. Interns are vital staff positions at this nationally recognized arts institution that give practical experience in the intern’s desired field. Interns have the additional opportunity to take leadership positions on Apprentice & Intern Company projects throughout the season and are actively involved with regular season productions.

ART FARM Phone: (402) 854-3120 Email: artfarm@hamilton.net |
Art Farm's program for interns offers farmhouse accommodation and a small workspace to pursue their artwork. We ask for 25 hours assistance per week from interns to help renovate and maintain Art Farm's buildings and grounds and assist the artists-in-residence. Interns need to be self-motivated and resourceful and to appreciate a quiet working environment - if you need a busy social life, this may not be for you. Art Farm's location is semi-isolated and rural and because of this condition, co-operation and an ability to share tasks are required.
Some of the interns have received college credit as part of their course study. |

However, generally from mid-May to Labor Day, interns will work on four Main Stage Equity productions and four productions on the Larry Vaber Stage in the Unicorn Theatre.
