The American Ceramic Society (ACerS) is a 100-year-old non-profit organization that serves the informational, educational and professional needs of the international ceramics community. Membership includes bulletins, online and print resources, membership directory, reduced rates on publications, employment services, discounted registration at forums and conferences, and options to join group health programs.

A nonprofit subsidiary of The American Ceramic Society, Potters Council was founded in 2001 to serve the needs of potters and ceramic artists. Membership benefits include discounts on publications, online directories, quarterly newsletter, financial and business services including credit card processing, website hosting and access to group health insurance.
