The 3rd annual Galaxie Battle of the Bands brings you 6 Chicago DJs spinning six different jazz artists from the swing era of the 1930s and ‘40s. Come ready to hear some fantastic music that will make you want to get up and dance!
With a whole new artist lineup, this year’s battle will be like nothing you’ve heard before. You’ll be dancing to the tunes of artists like Nina Simone, Louis Prima, Ray Charles and more. And because each DJ will be spinning tunes from only their designated artist, you are bound to hear some great songs from one of your favorite jazz artists for the first time.
