Matter Dance Company is having Auditions for their Summer Show!

Where:
The Drucker Center
1535 N. Dayton St.

When:
Sunday March 14th
Check in begins at 9:30am - Warm up at 9:45 - Audition starts at 10am.
Please come prepared to stay for the entire audition.

Matter Dance is seeking dedicated Male and Female dancers for their upcoming Summer concert which has a theme of The Circus: In the Ring and Behind the Curtain.
We are seeking dancers who have Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Hip Hop/B Boy and/or Acrobatics. All Levels & All Types are welcome.

The show will be held at The Vittum Theatre: June 17th - 19th (with a matinee on the 19th).
Please make sure you are available for the tech week and the show!

Organization Description: 

Now in its fourth year, Matter Dance Company was founded by longtime collaborators and Chicago natives Gail Adduci, Carisa Barreca, and Jessica Hoversen, who have performed together throughout the Midwest over the last 10 years.  Their work has been featured in Dance Chicago, the Around the Coyote Festival, Open House Dance Collective, Rebound, and Collaborations.  The MDC founders have diverse backgrounds ranging from dance therapy to corporate finance to sketch comedy and their unique perspectives allow them to create outside the box and present performances that are accessible to everyone.  Matter Dance Company's principle belief is that dance should be created for the audience and dancer alike.  Their goal is to create dance that makes the audience think, laugh, and want to experience dance.  Matter Dance Company is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization.
