Dance Films Association Inc. (DFA) is thrilled to announce the creation of a new, full-time Executive Director position to work in coordination with our current Artistic Director.
Qualifications and Application Requirements
Skills & Qualifications: This dynamic, flexible, well-organized individual will spearhead DFA’s drive to expand, and responsibilities include:
· *Work collaboratively with the Board and Artistic Director to create and implement a strategic development plan that supports the organization’s artistic and financial objectives; · *Lead development and fundraising operations for the institution, which include: managing individual membership programs, grant writing, and maintaining and cultivating relationships with donors; · *Provide fiscal leadership, including the continuation of a balanced budget as well as close monitoring and periodic reporting; · *Partner with the Board of Directors and Artistic Director to co-ordinate Board participation, activities, and the cultivation of new members; · *Maintain and manage day-to-day operations of the DFA administrative office; · *Provide managerial support for the Dance on Camera Festival and Touring Program, as well as supporting DFA’s education, artist service, and community outreach initiatives.
