Artist Gumbo is now accepting submissions for the February and March Artist Gumbo, Tuesday, February 23rd, 8:00 pm and Tuesday, March 30th, 8:00 pm at the Black Rock Pub.  This event is produced by Dramatis Personae and sponsored by the Institute For Arts Entrepreneurship™.  Seeking artists of all mediums to perform and display work in this monthly showcase.  Actors, hip-hop dancers, acoustic guitar players, story tellers, jugglers, ballerinas, rappers, puppeteers, poets, stand-up comedians, jam bands, sculptors, improvisers, ventriloquists, painters, acrobats, impressionists, magicians, ukulele players and all professional artists, no matter the discipline, are encouraged to apply.  Artist Gumbo is also looking for playwrights interested in premiering short plays (10-15 minutes) for a staged reading series to be part of the Gumbo each month.  After the show, be sure to stick around for a monthly networking event and find out more about the brand new Institute For Arts Entrepreneurship, opening in the Fall of 2010,  meeting and mingling with fellow Chicago artists.  Artist Gumbo is a monthly celebration of professional artists and performers at any stage in their artistic career working in the Chicago community.  To submit, send an e-mail to artistgumbo@dramatispersonaechicago.com.
