Winter Intensive: Workshop in the Elements

Allegro Dance Boutique of Evanston presents an exciting day of dance classes based on Elements Contemporary Ballet Artistic Dircetor Mike Gosney's concepts of the four elements--earth, air, fire, and water--in ballet. 

• Earth (Physicality) - Strength and flexibility conditioning
• Air (Focus) - Precise technique and execution of line
• Water (Freedom) - Movement exploration through guided improvisation
• Fire (Expression) - Endurance and performance quality

Dancers will also particpate in the creation of a new contemporary ballet to be presented at an in-studio showing for friends and family following the workshop.
