Established in 1981 by Artistic Director Scott Vehill, Technical Director Stefan Brun and others, it is the oldest surviving off-Loop, non-equity theater in Chicago.
Main stage is 30' x 25' x 12’ high (11’ to the grid) and seats approximately 70. Also has a flexible studio space, known as "The Bucket," which is approximately 750 square feet with a 12’ ceiling (11’ of grid clearance) and seats 30-50 depending on configuration.
Includes a fully functioning black box theater that seats 30-40 people in three rows. Movable flats, some stage lights and lighting boards, and a sound system. The stage area is about 25'x15', depending on the arrangement of the flats. Great for live performance or film screenings.
