Event Type:
Workshop
Saturday, September 20, 2008 2:30pm - 4:30pm

In conjunction with Intuit's exhibition, Finding Beauty: The Art of Lee Godie, Intuit will offer an exciting hands-on workshop with a vintage photo booth onsite. Lee Godie was a Chicago self-taught artist, who often used photography as a way to explore identity. Using the photo booth and Godie as inspiration, participants will create their own altered self-portraits. The workshop will be instructed by artist, Amy Mayfield. Mayfield  received her MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and has had her work exhibited widely, including the Museum of Contemporary Art, Threewalls, and Hyde Park Art Center.
