AUDITION FOR STREB
WHAT: STREB is looking for performers to fulfill part-time, paid positions with the company. A minimum of a 2-year commitment is required. Employment will start immediately after the audition process. STREB is offering an initial contract from Sept. 26, 2008 – June 30, 2009 with a minimum of 28 weeks of employment during that contract period. STREB provides full health insurance coverage for all of our performers. Contracted performers are also encouraged to teach class at our Brooklyn Space the STREB Lab for Action Mechanics (S.L.A.M.). WHEN: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday September 23rd- 25th 12-3 pm each day. Please arrive between 11:30am – 11:45 am to register and warm up. Attendees MUST be prepared to attend all 3 days of the audition in order to be considered for a position.

WHERE: Streb Lab for Action Mechanics (S.L.A.M.) 51 N. 1st Street (btwn Kent & Wythe Avenues) in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

WHO: We're interested in seeing people with professional-level training in any form of action including dancers, acrobats, athletes, gymnasts, martial artists, etc. Must have comfort with physical heights, impact, falls, and extreme aerobic activity. Trampoline experience is a plus.

Please bring: • Clothes that you find comfortable and easy to move in.
• A "performance" resume AND a resume reflecting any other kind of professional work you have done or skills you may possess.
*Headshots if you have them, but not required.
