Who: Kids, Teens, and Seniors!
What: Fit 2 Dance Competition/Dance & Fitness Demonstration
When: Friday, August 15th, 2008 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Where: Illinois State Fair (Springfield, Illinois - On the fairgrounds - Main & Illinois St.)

* The Illinois State Fair is located at 801 Sangamon Avenue, Springfield, Illinois.

Individuals: Individuals can compete in any of the three musical categories: Pop, Country, or Hip
Hop. We will select 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners from each musical category. Music selection is at
the discretion of the competition officials.
Children & Seniors: During the beginning of the competition, we will have two quick-fire
(1 ½ minute) dance competitions for seniors and children under 6. We will play 30-second music
sound bites from each musical category and select one winner!
Couples & Dance Groups: (6-member limit) You must call (312) 793-2342 to pre-register.
Registration will be limited to the first 10 couples and 10 groups! Dancers must bring their 2-minute
music selection (of any style) on a CD that contains only their performance music. Music containing
explicit lyrics is not allowed.

* All dancers will dance on regular asphalt, street pavement! (Main & Illinois St.)
