Tap Slam & Cutting Contest
Mullady Theater at Loyola University
As part of Rhythm World, CHRP
presents the Tap Slam and Cutting Contest, an opportunity to see the
amazing talent of our student body!
The Tap Slam puts the spotlight on 10 group or individual Rhythm World participants competing for the Tap Slam entry fees. Students perform their favorite piece of choreography in a fun and informal setting and the audience votes for the winner.
The Cutting Contest, an improvisation event in the style of Buck dancing competitions, pits the hottest young tap dancers against each other in foot-to-foot combat. A select panel of Rhythm World faculty members judge the competition and the winner receives the Contest entry fees.
