Chicago Dance Crash's Faust at Theatre Building, July 25-Aug 10

Chicago Dance Crash returns to the Theatre Building from July 25th thru August 10th with the premier of Kyle Vincent Terry's hip and illuminating adaptation of Goethe's masterpiece, Faust. Artistic Director Kyle Vincent Terry's adaptation has followed in the tradition of Goethe's closet drama by using a vivid fusion of movement styles and compelling theatricality to enhance a timeless tale of moral confliction. Terry has juxtaposed the movement styles of hip hop and ballet, while adding a smoking hot soundtrack based in both hip hop and progressive rock, in order to illuminate the contrast of the conflicting and sometimes existential forces of morality.

Chicago Dance Crash continues the 2008 season with Faust, running from July 25-August 10 at Theatre Building Chicago on 1225 W. Belmont Ave. Friday and Saturday shows are at 8PM and Sunday matinees are at 3PM. Tickets are $20.
