Dance Chance Showcase : Monday June 23rd

and the Ruth Page Center for the Arts are pleased to continue this program
with a dozen dates selected for the next 12 months beginning with this
coming Monday.
Monday, June 23, 6pm-7pm – Dance Chance will feature the work of Rebecca
Lemme, Helen Lee, and Brandon DiCriscio. Dance Chance is a one-hour event
inspired by the concept of open-mic night, offering opportunities for
choreographers to show their work informally, creating dialogue among
artists, and building audience for dance. Each of the three
choreographers, chosen by chance, will have a 15-minute time slot to share
their work. To round out the hour, the final 15-minute segment will be a
moderated meet-the-artist session providing an opportunity for
choreographers to discuss their work and process, as well as time for the
audience to ask questions.
Guest Moderator: Adam Hundt, independent choreographer and dancer with
Ballet Met (Columbus, OH)
At the end of each Dance Chance, the next trio of participants will be
chosen from names submitted by choreographers in attendance. The next
Dance Chance will be on Monday, July 21. The event, held in the intimate
theater of the Ruth Page Center, located at 1016 N. Dearborn and is FREE
and open to the public.
