Overview: The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants has issued new auditing standards which dramatically increase management’s responsibility for internal control matters, fraud considerations, audit oversight committees, and the auditor’s involvement in assessing these areas. This workshop highlights systems and practices, as well as document preparation, to help your audit progress smoothly and result in reports which satisfy reporting requirements and attract and retain funders and contributors. You will be provided with innovative solutions to help meet your goals and accomplish your mission
Presenter: Gloriann Harris is a certified public accountant, whose firm has been in practice for more than thirty years. The firm specializes in auditing not-for-profit clients and in individual and corporate tax preparation and consultation. Ms. Harris also has extensive experience in serving on boards of national and international non-profit organizations and as an executive director.
