Mae the Bellydancer
My name is Mae Phillips and I perform as Mae the Bellydancer in the bellydance world and as Spiffy Kinns in the Burlesque. I am the director of the queer centric burlesque and variety show the Knock Knock Hot Spot in Chicago (www.knockknockhotspot.com), the director of the Gothic Tribal Fusion Bellydance troupe The Black Silk Road, and 1/2 of the Tribal Fusion duet Caoba. I have been bellydancing for 18 years, and most recently recieved 2nd in the Midwest Bellydance Challenge Tribal Soloist division.
