Become a Professional Ballroom, Latin, or Swing Dance Instructor!

Serious inquiries only.  You must have exceptional dance ability or potential and be able to make the commitment.  Join the family of one of the top social dance studio's in the Midwest.  Several roles available including: Independent Contractors, Full-time Instructors, Instructors-in-Training, Kids Program Instructors, Adult Social Dance Instructors, Competitive Ballroom Dancers. Learn from our Master Instructors and May I Have This Dance owner, Nino DiGiulio, as well as the other expert staff at MIHTD.

Please send us the following application materials before May 10th, 2008:

1) Dance Resume
2) Non-Dance Resume
3) A letter describing your:  Career Goals; Dance Goals; Availability; Why you want to join MayIHaveThisDance; and if you have reliable and flexible transportation.
4) List of work & dance references (previous supervisors preferred)
5) Headshot, or photo of you dancing.  Even better would be a video clip of your dancing.

Dance Ability Open Audition
Auditions – Saturday, May 17, 2008
Noon to 1:30pm

Main studio location: 5246 N. Elston in Chicago

Also, please bring Ballroom/Latin or character shoes, or any lightweight, leather-soled shoes.

Please arrive on time to fill out an application and warm-up.

The auditions will include an accelerated group lesson in a ballroom, Latin, or swing dance, and movement . Those that pass the auditions will be asked back for interviews.
