How did you get involved with making videos for and about Chicago's dance community?
The work with Chicago dance started back in 1988 with the Lynda Martha Dance Company, which was a modern company based at the Noyes Cultural Arts Center in Evanston. After a couple of dub jobs and small shoots to archive rehearsals, we asked if she’d give us the chance to shoot her fall ’89 concert (we’d give her the shoot and edit for free). more...
