Open Call for Educational Programming

LATITUDE is currently holding its second annual call for OpenED Proposals for the 2019 calendar year! Proposals will be accepted until November 30th, 2018.

About OpenED: LATITUDE’s mission has always included a focus on shared education. In an effort to expand our educational opportunities, LATITUDE launched an open call for educational programming in 2017. From this open call, LATITUDE ran four pieces of public programming proposed by emerging local artists and scholars, and developed alongside LATITUDE staff. We are once again welcoming proposals for our 2019 calendar year!

WHO: Emerging artists/scholars that are seeking more experience in educational roles or those with proposals that may not fit into traditional academic environments.

WHAT: Proposals for rigorous educational programming that utilize the lab facilities and/or flex space at LATITUDE and in some way engage in the fields of photography, visual art, or imaging. Examples of educational programming include but are not limited to: themed reading groups, technical workshops, artistic development workshops, & critique groups. Proposed programming can be in the form of one day workshops or multi-session courses and can include off-site visits, guest speakers, and outside collaborators. View our lab page to see the list of available equipment and facilities that can be utilized for your program.

WHEN: Submissions are due by 11:59 PM on November 30th, 2018. Select proposals will be contacted for an interview with the potential of being offered a programming slot in 2019. Please visit our webite to fill out the application.
