EXHIBITION TITLE: Community, Welcome, and Unity

Arts Sanctuary is a one night exhibition striving to create a shared arts experience between practicing Chicago artists and their local community.

This upcoming exhibition will feature work that incorporates, gives voice to, and interacts with our greater Chicago community and beyond. There will be music and a sampling of craft beer from Wicker Park Lutheran Church's "Brew and Bible" brew group.  Proceeds from the event will benefit the organization, Interfaith Committee for Detained Immigrants.

We are looking for work exploring empathy, community, unity, engagement, immigration, justice, welcome, and diversity. If your work is outside the scope of our concept, your submission will still be considered.

We hope to provide a safe platform for as many perspectives and voices to be heard as possible, and to cultivate a space to encourage furthering connections.

***Works in all media are welcome including but not limited to visual art, spoken word, performance, projection, and movement pieces.

Please respond via email with the following:

-jpeg or link to the piece(s) you’d like to display

-overall dimensions of the work

-notes on the display requirements

We’ll do our best to ensure all submissions receive a timely response.
