One State Together in the Arts is a biannual conference, co-presented by Arts Alliance Illinois and the Illinois Arts Council and made possible by generous support from the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency; the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation; and the Joyce Foundation.  One State Together In The Arts enables state-wide arts educators, practitioners, organizers and administrators to come together to share new ideas, fresh perspectives, build networks and be inspired by the work that is being made throughout Illinois. On May 23 - 24th, 2011 the conference was held in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois, featuring ten speakers across all of the arts disciplines who each personify or inspire a Creative Breakthrough.  Their presentations are available online courtesy of the Arts Alliance Illinois.
