Danny catches up with the ever-amazing Dado as she talks about her life on the stage, sculptural epiphanies and her upcoming MFA thesis show.

Dado has been an actor and director in both Chicago and Los Angeles for almost 20 years. In that time, she has directed a fine mix of world, US, Midwest and West Coast premieres, as well as established plays. She is an ensemble member of A Red Orchid and is a graduate of the MFA program at the University of Chicago (2014).

Danny Volk was born in Akron, OH and currently lives and works in Chicago. He graduated from Kent State University in 2006 with a BA in theater studies and in 2014 graduated from the University of Chicago with an MFA in visual arts. Volk's performance-based work has been exhibited in Chicago at High Concept Laboratories, PSA Projects, The Logan Center Gallery, and Links Hall. Outside of Chicago, he's shown at Centro Desarrollo de las Artes Visuales Plaza Vieja in Havana, Cuba and Whitespace Gallery in Atlanta, Georgia.
