Rhizome launches Net Art Anthology

Two-year online exhibition will present 100 artworks from net art history.

Last October, Rhizome launched Net Art Anthology, a "two-year online exhibition [to] present 100 artworks from net art history, restaging and contextualizing one project each week." Currently in its tenth week, the exhibition has featured work by Eduardo Kac, Alexei Shulgin, Olia Lialina, The Bureau of Inverse Technology, Mez Breeze and others; and "retells the history of net art from the 1980s to the present day". For weekly updates on newly added work, one can sign up for a weekly email from the Anthology.
